Genesis
The Adhiparasakthi College of Science, G.B. Nagar, Kalavai was started with a vision and blessings of Arulthiru AMMA in the year 1988 in an extensive area of about 800 acres near Arcot in Vellore District. The foundation stone was laid by none other than the late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. This college is affiliated with the University of Madras.
Training
The college currently offers the following degrees:

In the next academic year (2001-2002) M.Sc. Computer Science, P.G.D.C.A. and research degrees - M.Phil in Microbiology and Biochemistry will be offered. There are plans to start much sought after degrees like Biotechnology, Bioinformatics and Information Technology in the near future.
Facilities
Well-qualified faculty are appointed for all courses. Adequate laboratory facilities and a full-fledged library are available to cater to the needs of all the above specializations.
There are separate modern hostels for boys and girls in the college campus. Adequate facilities are being provided to students for both athletics and games. The college has modern communication facilities like Fax, E-mail, and Internet.
