Amma felt bad that he was unable to visit California on his trip to the United States this year and knows how disapointed the California devotees were. To make up for this, Amma is going to make a special trip to just California. He did not say when this would be but it is likely to be 2001 or 2002. Amma wanted us to convey this message to you so that you know he is thinking of all of you. When Amma provides more details we will be sure to let you know right here.

Amma has now said that S/he will be coming to California in 2001. Amma and Thirumathi Amma will both definitely be coming. Amma asked Dr. Thiyagarajan when would be a good time (nice warm weather) to come and he told Amma that June and July are nice, so this is probably when Amma will come. Amma also said that they will be coming to the US every year to visit a different region of the country.

Devotees in California should begin making preparations as soon as possible. It would probably be a good idea to go to Melmaruvathur for Irumudi and talk to Amma at that time about planning. Devotees in other regions of the country can start thinking about inviting Amma to their region in 2002 and beyond.
