100 volunteers arrived in Gujarat on the weekend from Melmaruvathur. Their first job was to organize volunteers from mandrams in North India to help with earthquake relief.

On Tuesday Amma arranged for a special express train from Melmaruvathur to Gujarat carrying 400 volunteers and 25 laks (2.5 million Rupees) worth of relief supplies. Amma personally came to the train station and blessed the train.
