I would like to inform you about the following:
On 7th January, 2001 Sunday afternoon between 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. about 25 Sakthis of Singapore OmSakthi Mandram went to Sree Narayana Mission Home for the Aged at Yishun Avenue 5, Singapore and offered their services by cleaning all the 30 wards, including the beds, cabinets, photos and fans as well as the bathrooms and toilets. This was done for the benefit of the male and female inmates residents of Sree Nayarana Mission Home for the Aged who number about 2000 and range in age from 60 to 75. The management of the Mission was very happy at the services we offered. Our Sakthis indicated after the service that they would like to do another similar servicve within the next 2 or 3 months. Accordingly we plan to arrange for another service by our volunteers during June 2001.
