With the advice and blessings of Amma, two sakthis in the US are collecting donations of books and computer equipment to send to the educational and medical facilities of the Adhiparasakthi Trust in Melmaruvathur.

Amma has asked Sakthi Nandakumar Thiyagarajan in Lansdale, PA to collect books to help build one of the best libraries in Tamil Nadu. All types of books are welcome, particularly scholarly books and journals in medicine, science and engineering. If you live in the northeastern US, pickup of large shipments can be arranged. Otherwise, books should be sent via UPS ground or USPS at book postage rate to:

Sakthi Radhakrishnan in Illinois is beginning a drive to collect used computer equipment to send to the Trust in Melmaruvathur. There are few details about this at the moment but if you are interested in helping, you can contact us at computer@omsakthi.org and your message will be forwarded to Radhakrishnan. Any computer equipment less than 8 years old which is still in working order is welcome. Computer monitors less than 12 years old are acceptable.

Even if you don't have anything to donate yourself, you can still help by providing temporary storage space, help in transportation of items or contribute money to help pay the shipping costs to India.
