Amma arrived in Chennai (Madras) by evening where he attended a reception at Guindy at 6:00 PM. Amma released an 'Audio Cassette on Irumudi' at a brief function at the Music Academy around 6:30 PM. An unpredicted heavy downpour of rain came up which delayed things slightly.

Thursday, Dec. 10
Heavy rain and Amma was on tour as scheduled.

Friday, Dec. 11
Climate cold and hazy. Amma's tour on schedule.

Saturday, Dec. 12
Tour on schedule. Weather slightly bright. Amma hosted lunch at Her residence for all sakthis on tour today. Amma innaugurated the opening of a factory building of our trust secretary Shri A.K.V., who has constructed a pharmaceutical factory in Madras.

Sunday, Dec. 13
Amma on tour in South Madras till noon. A family who invited amma to their house for several years (more than 18 years), was surprised when Amma dropped in their house and ate adirsam (sweet desert), and had a brief halt at their place. It is destined by Amma that she will visit only this time.

The Irumudi Malai function was blessed by Amma. She came to the venue at around 3:00 PM and between 3:15 PM and 4:15 PM, Irumudi Malai was graced by Amma. Amma herself gave irumudi malai to 2 poor ladies, 2 husband &wifes (poor family), and hoisted the Irumudi flag. More than 2000 sakthis were present at the function. Amma left for Melmaruvathur by 4:00 PM. Velvi pooja was started by around 3:00 PM and all the holy water was distributed to all the sakthis with the blessings of Amma.

Amma saves Madras from rain by Her tour and by the blessing of the people of Chennai: Indeed it was Amma who had decided to visit tiruchi during the 1st week of Dec. But currently the cities and villages of tiruchi, madurai, dindugal have been heavily washed out by rain (please refer to the latest indian news bulletion-regional south). The same should have also happened to the city of Chennai and the surrounding area. Although a heavy downpour of rain persists, Amma has graced the city and blessed and saved it from the same.
