2nd and 3rd March '98 - Days of sheer joy and bliss for one and all. Yes... The Fifty Seventh Birthday Celebrations of His Holiness Bangaru Adigalar - AMMA, the moving spirit and Founder of the Adhiparasakthi Movement, are to be held at Melmaruvathur, Tamil Nadu.

AMMA's yeoman services as the Founder of the Adhiparasakthi Siddhar Peeda Women's Charitable Trust and Arulmigu Adhiparasakthi Siddhar Peedam, Melmaruvathur spreads over not merely Tamil Nadu and the rest of India, but extends even beyond the seas.

AMMA is not merely a spiritual Guru. AMMA's humanitarian, benevolent Grace falls upon the depressed, the downtrodden, the poor, women and children, particularly World's Youths. Year by year, the number of devotees increases by crores (tens of thousands). Here, in all functions as AMMA ordains, social and community services irrespective of caste, creed and religion are executed throughout the year. AMMA's birthday is the consummation of the social services AMMA renders for the benefit of the society. From all over the world, eager devotees throng at Melmaruvathur on this divine occasion.

No caste, no creed, no religion... All are AMMA's children. His Holiness AMMA is a beacon of light in all spheres of life. Under His divine vigilant guidance a number of educational institutions, namely a Matriculation School, a Polytechnic, an Engineering College, a College for Paramedical Courses and a College of Science and Technology prove their mettle. An Adhiparasakthi Charitable Hospital serving 100% free in this remote area meets the growing needs of the villages in the neighborhood.

A Medical College is sure to emerge in the near future. Peace and solace come easily even to the mentally retarded as AMMA shows special care to them by offering them a HOME filled with happiness and comforts.

To commemorate this occasion, we propose to bring out a Souvenir (book), the proceeds of which will be utilized by the Trust for the above Charitable purposes. You are requested to kindly participate in this Holy Function.

We shall be obliged if a suitable advertisement in the Souvenir is released and also generous donations are given by philanthropists for this noble cause. Donations to the Trust are exempted from Income Tax (in India) under Sec. 80G of this Act.
