Amma's first trip to the United States is currently being planned for the end of August through mid September. Amma is the founder and "guiding light" of the Om Sakthi Spiritual Movement. The goal of this trip is the promotion of world peace and spirituality among all countries, cultures, and religions. To help realize this goal a large Yagna ceremony will be conducted in Chester Springs, PA on September 3rd. This ceremony is a means for all people involved to channel spiritual energy for the benefit of the entire world. All people are welcome and encouraged to come and see this intricate ceremony which employs beautiful designs similar to mandalas, mantra recitation, and meditation on a scale never witnessed in the United States before.

Amma will also be participating in several interfaith and charitable activities while in the US and will be attending at least one reception at a Christian church. If you are located in the Philadelphia/New York/New Jersey areas and would like Amma to attend an event dedicated to the cause of spirituality and peace in conjuction with your organization, please let us know.
